Balanced Living

by creativehomex

YOU KNOW IT feels just right when everything feels cohesive in your little home. For ID Industries, it is not just about creating a comfortable home with an outstanding and impressive interior. To them, it is about creating a home that feels balanced through the application and understanding of space, aesthetics and visual weight.

In the living room, there are several interesting pieces that round up the interior. A grey L-shaped leather couch and red cushions effortlessly lend the living space a soothing effect. Meanwhile, a black high pile rug is chosen to give the living room a softer look. Solid forms often hold more weight visually than transparent forms. Here, the visual weight of the couch and rug is offset by the transparent glass table. Giving the living room an aesthetic view, the feature painting adorning the wall at the staircase area, has heavy and unusual forms to grow the visual effect.

In the dining area, drop ceiling and balls of décor lighting balance the weight of the simple and sleek design dining set beneath. Speaking of visual weight, darker shades and warm hues hold more weight than lighter shades and cooler hues. For the bedrooms, the spaces are made comfortable with the balance of these two shades, which are done up in a contrasting palette of grey and white. Overall, we can simplify that the balance in this house is created not just through shape, but also through colour, pattern and texture.
