This residential project by Armarior Sdn Bhd tells a unique story that intertwines the love for beautiful interiors and pets. While collaborating on a previous residence at Eco Cora, the owners approached the design team with a special request: to create a living room that not only embodies elegance but also incorporates a dedicated space for their cherished cats. This special requirement set the stage for an innovative design journey.

The living room features exquisite laminated wall panels that serve as a sophisticated backdrop, perfectly complemented by a stylish TV console. One of the most striking elements of this project is the hidden doors concept, artfully integrated into the feature wall to create the cat’s room. These doors provide seamless access to the second floor and a storeroom, adding an element of surprise and functionality. The impressive 3-metre door leading to the upper level is a distinctive feature, rarely found in residential designs, and speaks to the creative vision behind this project.

“To balance the aesthetic and avoid a monochromatic look, we incorporated a special black glass panel into the design,” the designers share. “The owners, avid cat lovers, also requested a glass side panel with doors for the cat house, blending functionality with style.”

Furthermore, understanding the owners’ deep affection for their feline companions, the design team crafted a glass side panel with doors for the cat house. This innovative feature ensures that the cats have their own stylish and functional space, allowing them to enjoy the living area alongside their human family.
