As MIFF celebrates their 20th anniversary, MIFF 2014 promises a bigger and better show, with more to offer.
From humble beginnings in 1995, the Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) organised by UBM has since grown into Southeast Asia’s No.1 furniture fair and a global Top 10 industry show. Today, MIFF is the choice market place for 20,000 buyers from over 140 countries. Touted as the singled largest platform for Made-in-Malaysia furniture products, MIFF promises top value and great deals at the fair, ensuring a dynamic platform for furniture businesses, contract buyers, international chain stores, hoteliers, architects and interior decorators secure the best deals, visibility, networking opportunities and to see new trends. 2014 marks MIFF’s milestone in the industry and this year’s fair will also be part of MIFF’s 20th anniversary celebration.
After another record-setting exhibition in 2013, the Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) is once again drawing a strong crowd for its 20th anniversary this coming March. Held at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) and MARTRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre (MECC) from 4th to 8th March 2014, visitors can expect over 500 exhibitors spread across 80,000 sqm of exhibition space. Exhibiting countries include those from Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, USA, UK, India, Spain and Vietnam.
“This is extremely positive for MIFF as we celebrate 20 successful years in the furniture tradeshow industry. The fact that MIFF has maintained its position as Southeast Asia’s No.1 furniture destination year after year speaks of the strength of our trade show and our track record,” said MIFF Chairman Dato’ Tan Chin Huat. Dato’ Tan said exhibitors and visitors can look forward to an international showcase of high quality and a wide variety of products at great value. Following the resounding debut of the MFA Hall, the Muar Furniture Association (MFA) has indicated the number of exhibitors will increase next year in its specially designated area.
