Hermès 2025 Home Collection Milan Debut: Luxurious Aesthetics Reshape the Art of Living

by creativehomex

Hermès has unveiled a dazzling, surreal installation that transforms the traditional home collection into an experience bursting with vibrant hues and avant-garde creativity. Kicking off at Milan Design Week, the brand made a bold return to the La Pelota venue with its 2025 Home Collection, a project that marks a refreshing departure from its classic Heritage approach.

Co-created by Home Creative Directors Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry, the collection draws inspiration from early modernist movements, infusing the space with a playful yet sophisticated visual impact. Gone are the dark, earthy tones of previous years; instead, visitors are greeted by a luminous world where color reigns supreme.

Inside the exhibit, a series of floating niches set against a pristine white backdrop elegantly showcase a range of products, from furniture and soft furnishings to tableware. A subtle glow of multicolored light caresses everyday objects such as drinking cups, blankets, and tables, evoking the seamless merge of art and design. Standout pieces include Tomás Alonso’s translucent side table that echoes Piet Mondrian’s distinctive color blocks and Amer Musa’s cashmere blankets, featuring bold multi-colored grids and round motifs reminiscent of 20th-century abstract art and Bauhaus influences. Other items, like vases and baskets, persist with the geometric theme while incorporating signature Hermès leather craftsmanship. Not to be overlooked, a 33-piece Hermès porcelain dinnerware set pays homage to the elegance of the Art Deco era with its repetitive geometric patterns.

Reflecting on last year’s exhibition, characterized by moody, dimly lit displays that celebrated natural materials such as brick, stone, and wood. This year’s futuristic environment signals a dynamic evolution. As Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry celebrate a decade at the helm of the Maison Home Collection, they’re now channeling a forward-thinking vision that bridges past legacies with tomorrow’s innovations.

The Hermès 2025 Home Collection will be on display at La Pelota until April 13, 2025. If you’re eager to experience a groundbreaking collision of design and art, this is one event you simply cannot miss.
