Being the only Christian Dior Suite in Europe, the brand is echoed
through supreme elegant furnishings, lavish textures and rich
materials, whilst boasting panoramic views of the Mediterranean.

Since 2000, interior designer Nathalie Ryan has promoted the essence of Christian Dior around the world. With a strong instinct and a natural eye, she has contributed to the visual identity of this celebrated fashion house by reinventing the values of elegance, luxury and the meaning of French chic through the design of their iconic boutiques. Having worked in a number of different sectors within the design industry, including 5* hotels, fashion boutiques, luxury residences, advertising agencies and music studios, it was in 2000 when Ryan embarked on her new global adventure with Christian Dior, designing the boutiques.

In the world of haute couture, during her collaboration with Dior, Ryan designed the lavish Dior Suite at the Hotel Majestic in Cannes in 2010. With two en-suite guest rooms completed with a private lounge, a spacious lounge and a dining room, the luxurious 450 square metre Suite offers an 180˚ panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea from its terrace. Decorated in the style of n°30, Avenue Montaigne in Paris (the historic headquarters of the Parisian couturier), stone and Hungarian wood floors flow through the main rooms. The dining room stands an imposing Louis XVI style table, surrounded by characteristic medallion chairs upholstered in grey and silver. Dressed in rich fabrics and heavy colours, a sofa is centred in the lounge, where the cushions embrace Christian Dior’s historic pleated design from 1947, in the dazzling shade of red.
With everything designed to custom, handmade mural paintings hang around the Suite, which captures Dior’s elegance. The guestrooms, suffused in luxury, are decorated in shades of grey, where the master bedroom offers a dreamy, silver wooden walk-in closet. Furnished with supreme elegance, the Suite is lavished in silk and velvet, embroidered bed linen and photographic works, whilst hosting a home movie system complete with a projector and a giant three by two metre screen.
