Can you tell us about your background?
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang followed by a Master’s Degree in Executive MBA from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). Prior to taking on the role of Managing Director at 760i Architect & Consultant Co.,Ltd. I gained much experience as an architect at Santhaya and Associates Co., Ltd and Marchon Co, Ltd.

Can you tell us about 760i Architects and Consultants?
Established in 1988, 760i Architects and Consultants offers comprehensive services in architecture, interior design and graphics. Apart from the three divisions, 760i is also adept in model making, material selection and graphic research. Our office now accommodates a highly talented team of over forty staff. Projects are nurtured in compact groups to aid a better personal service and to enable close contact between client and design teams.

Initially 760i Architects aimed at an international level of design, but after successfully completing several overseas projects, the company now boasts the experience and knowledge to keep this as the office standard. With a solid understanding of the built environment, construction and experience in creating innovative solutions to a wide range of projects, we take pride in being one of the leaders of modern development in Thailand.

How do you approach design?
Serving the two defining beliefs – client relationships and public requirements – projects are systematically developed through the same series of structured phases. From initial conceptual design schemes to project completion, each design team is governed by experienced team management. Development initiates with each designer presenting their individual perspectives of the potential project to the rest of the team. All the strengths are then gathered to a collective whole and produced as a conceptual study. As the scheme passes through each phase, issues are dealt with collectively as a group delivering the most effective solution.

What are your key projects?
Major projects include Maruay Library for the Stock Exchange Thailand and Central Ramintra Shopping Complex. These projects incorporate full services across all areas – architecture, interior design and graphics. We have also been involved in the design of the Bangkok Sport Centre, J-7 Boutique Hotel, Erawan Chemical Company, SET Studio, Bangkok Bank micro branches and many more, including a series of residential projects.

What serves as your firm’s driving force?
There is a strong belief in the ability of the designers in the office. They are given freedom of expression; creative thought and innovation and are not forced to produce an “office language” or certain dictatorial style of design. Management will not dictate the form or function of a scheme but will actively guide it in the right direction in order to provide the best possible options. As a result, the company’s design style adheres more to the client’s requirements and the context with which the project is based. Commitment in providing this level of professional service is the main drive behind each individual project.
