From 18 to 21 March 2019, The spotlight is on the 43rd edition of CIFF Guangzhou – Home Furniture. Everything’s ready. And so, among the general euphoria and anticipation to learn the new proposals, the fair and, with it, the rich agenda of events begin to take shape. The exhibition space is divided into thematic areas, conferences, seminars, and design exhibitions. All the most important events for learning about trends and industry players as well as market data and updates in the interest of continually improving production.

Creative Design Sets the Scene Alight
The 43rd edition of CIFF Guangzhou features the latest interior design trends through the proposals of innumerable design talents; in the Design Hall (hall 2.1), famous designers, such as Wen Hao, Zhu Xiaojie, Hou Zhengguang, Chen Xiangjing, and Chai Xiaodong, present their contemporary Chinese furniture creations.

Still in the Design Hall, as well as in the Design Customization/High-end Customization area (hall 1.1), trendy brands like Duoshao, Opal, Haostyle, Jingyi, Lichi, Grado, Norya, Innovation, Essence, Dash Casa, Xingwei, and Baicheng introduce CIFF visitors to new concepts for improving living space quality.

The International Proposal
The International Hall (hall 3.1-5.1) hosts world-famous companies, including Ashley, HTL, Global Furniture, Manwah, M&D, Fine, Koda, and Sharda, which, flanked by brands enjoying their first time at CIFF, such as Nordic Home, Aritco, and Asiades, as well as groups of companies from Turkey, Malaysia, and India, guarantee a wide ranging international vision.

More and More Personalised Products
The furniture market calls for more and more products and solutions to be customised. In the Whole House Customized Intelligent Furniture area (halls 6.1–8.1), Shangpinzhaipei, Kinwai, Hengda Meisenmei, Liweijia, Wayes, Modern Zhumei, Sepsion, Kano.cn, and other major brands respond to this trend and new customer needs.

Minimalism and Elegance
The fusion of minimalist design and a more classic Western design is one of the main trends defining domestic environments. The Modern Furniture/Nordic Furniture/Minimalist Furniture section (Halls 1.2, 2.2, and 3.2) hosts brands like Qumei, Landbond, Steel-land, Kinwai, Kangbao, Hanker, and Debrah, which offer welcoming, informal, and youthful living solutions.

The sofa is undoubtedly one of the main features of the house. Kuka, Violin, Aris, Zuoyou, Furton, Royal, Fuli, Futural, Henglin, UE, Zhongyuan, Landbond, and many other top brands interpret this theme and offer ideal solutions for all tastes and lifestyles within the Premium Sofa area (halls 9.1–13.1 and 11.2).

A mild luxury style represents the desire of many to feel fashionable and enhance the value of their style of living. Four-Seas, Gainwell, Pan Casa, Guosen·Fendi, Vertex, Monarchy, DOB, Hatz, and Italian Miro offer new experiences in the Mild Luxury (halls 4.2–5.2) and Classic Home Furniture (halls 9.2–10.2) areas.

Healthy Sleep
March 21 is World Sleep Day. Inside the Sleep Center (halls 12.2 and 13.2), Sleemon, DeRucci, Memo’s, Sweet Secret, Eon, Quansi, Huadong, LMG, Aide, Lixing, Goodnight, Jinlongheng, and Quanli celebrate this important day by offering the best solutions for good rest and, consequently, people’s wellbeing.


Design Events: Dialogue on Trends
During the 43rd CIFF Guangzhou-Home Furniture, the rich program of forums and events dedicated to design represents an invaluable source of information on international trends, as well as a point of reference and inspiration for designers and operators in the sector.

Oasis of X Species: New Arrivals of Global Home Furnishing Brands
The Oasis of X Species exhibition, developed in collaboration with jiaju.sina.com.cn and organised by CIFF, outlines the orientation and future trends of home furnishing projects, interpreted using furniture selected from 25 of the most influential and innovative brands.

Ten Parallel Space Exhibition
Ten Parallel, organised by CIFF and home.163.com in the Design Hall, is an exhibition in which ten designers and ten well-known home furnishing brands present ten innovative home environments under the theme “Another Angle of Views.”

Smart Living for Future
CIFF collaborates with Patrick Leung, a world-renowned designer and consultant for the Hong Kong and Tubatu Association of Interior Designers, to organise the exhibition The Smart Living for Future within the Customized Intelligent Furniture area. In this context, three types (60 + 90 + 120) of housing units are proposed, designed with the contribution of well-known brands, such as Haier, Snimay, Jomoo Sanitary Ware, DeRucci, and Zaozuo, to provide new solutions for customising the entire house.

Design Dream Show
The Design Dream Show will explore the new theme of ‘Time-Space Travellers’ with the aim of re-establishing a new space-time community and a vital space for young people, with the presence of 13 famous brands, such as U + Furniture, Xiqi Art, Frank Chou Design Studio, Sureeco, and Ruichi.

D Station – Dandelion Bookseats
CIFF and Dandelion Bookseats have collaborated with famous designers and journalists, such as Ling Zongyong, Guo Xiayi, Zhai Yue, Quan Yong, and Dai Bei, to fashion a creative space dedicated to sharing and reading, capable of restoring the right relationship between people and the urban environment and, at the same time, offering people a new opportunity for dialogue.

D Station – D3 Space
D Station – D3 Space collaborates with famous designers like Zeng Chuanjie, Qiu Chunrui, Du Baijun, Ke Shangda, Zhu Zhikang, Huang Shiyi, and Chen Darui to present conceptual and sustainable projects.

Contemporary Chinese Lifestyle Furniture Exhibition
Dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Space Culture of Home proposes four types of domestic scenarios designed to show changes in the way people live in China from the 1950s to the present.

The Lifestyle & Interior Design Trends Forum
CIFF organises The Lifestyle & Interior Design Trends Forum in collaboration with yidianzixun.com; design experts like Shuhei Aoyama, Chen Dejian, and Zeng Jianlong, along with 100 designers from the sector, share ideas and experiences to build a platform dedicated to interior design, ideal for keeping up-to-date on the latest international trends.
