With its fun-meets-formal ambience, Cody Hong and Lizz Chloe’s home is a picture-perfect expression of the couple’s vibrant personality.
Inspired by Malaysian Chinese Youtubers, Cody Hong and Lizz Chloe’s energetic and lively personalities, Nu Infinity created a cosy dwelling and home office that’s brimming with a fun and flexible vibe. “The concept for this home is to create a vibrant space that flows dynamically, reflecting Cody’s and Lizz Chloe’s profession and personality,” says Alex Lee, Nu Infinity’s Design Director. “Downstairs, we used a “brainstorm” theme where a trail of lighting brings us into the main living spaces. Upstairs, a “mindmap” theme reflects the high level of creativity that a Youtuber requires.”
On the ground floor, the living area is done up with interesting details that mix a touch of playfulness against a sophisticated palette of colours and materials.
Over at the feature wall where the T V console is the surface is dressed in eye-catching gold-toned natural wall plaster by Vasari.
The spaces evoke a fun vibe that is sophisticated as well, thanks to the combination of different furnishing materials.
Natural light streams through the beautiful sheers from Curtainsplace enhancing the living room featuring Commune’s Rover furniture series.
In the kitchen, the designer created a versatile kitchen island highlighted by a pair of gold lamps overhead.
A variety of bright hues like greens and yellows are used generously to grace the walls at the stairway all the way towards the corridors that link the bedrooms.
Adjacent to the living area is the couple’s Creator Studio which portrays a lifestyle home office concept.
For the master bedroom, shades of green imbue a fresh yet calming feel, complementing the ultra comfy Sealy bed.
