INTRODUCTION
Since its debut in 2012, My Favourite Interior Design International Awards (MFID) has been at the forefront of identifying and celebrating established and emerging talents in the interior design arena.
Conceived as a platform for design talents to put their best works in the limelight, MFID also plays a supportive role in uniting the different sectors of interior design in Malaysia and abroad, offering participants, partners, and key players in the industry an avenue to engage and connect with one another.
Ultimately, MFID is more than just an award; it’s a purveyor of quality and innovation in the local design scene while offering international recognition. For participating designers, winning the MFID award is a professional step towards design excellence and credibility.

To recognise and promote excellence in the design industry in order to preserve the integrity of design and inspire future generations. To provide a fair, ethical and dynamic platform for designers from various disciplines to compete on.

Organised by iN Publishers Sdn Bhd, MFID 2022 centres around the exploration of the future of design and how we can shape today’s design landscape to pave the way towards a brighter tomorrow, especially as we emerge from the recent global challenges.
CATEGORIES & JUDGES
Evaluated by a panel of five esteemed international judges, MFID 2022 will feature seven categories:
Residential Spaces Design
Homes, apartments, private villas, etc.
Hospitality & Leisure Spaces
Recreational spaces, hotels, resorts, guesthouses, spas and wellness areas, clubs, cinemas/theatres, fitness centres, salons, lounges, casinos, theme parks, etc.
Commercial & Retail Spaces
Retail stores, showrooms, shops, retail outlets, department stores, food markets, shopping malls, kiosks, etc.
Food and Beverage Spaces
Cafes, bars, lounges, restaurants, canteens, food courts, bistros, bars, etc.
Workspaces
Office, industrial premises (industrial properties, warehouses, garages, distribution centres), studios, factories, co-working space, etc.
Institutional Spaces
Hospitals, clinics, healthcare centres, educational, religious, community centres, schools, kids playgroups, education/learning centres, libraries, hospitals, clinics, airports, public transport stations, government space, etc.
Student Design
Design project submitted by interior design/ interior architecture students.
