Light and dark shades are creatively used to create a spacious home that is cosy and welcoming.

Upon stepping into this residence, a bright and airy sense of cosiness greets you immediately. The designer, Kech Design Studio has cleverly turned this living space into a modern interior that blends light warm colours with spacious elegance. In the living room, one will be immediately drawn to the black feature wall affixed with two bicycles. Light grey sofas are adorned with colourful plush cushions set against a white wall, opening up the space. Next to it, the balcony space and windows bring in lighting naturally.

We also see the same treatment applied to the dining area and kitchen. Here, in the dining room, light colours in the shades of mild greys and copper browns are used for the furnishing and cabinets. A black chalkboard wall articulately separates the kitchen from the dining area, leaving a small gap in the middle for one to enter the heart of the home. Downlights highlight the dining table and a grey feature wall is neatly tucked into one corner of the dining area to create a sense of spaciousness. In the kitchen, the space is carefully separated into a wet and dry area by a glass framed door.
