Overwhelmed by a wide range of styles for your dining space? We go back to the roots with eclectic and modern designs that demonstrate inspiring uses of wood in the décor.
Industrial Contrast
Selected by Yong Studio, the dining set presents some surprisingly unique details in its construction: the table features contradicting long edges that are cut straight on one side of the table but left to undulate on the other. Instead of using the same upholstered dining chairs on the irregular side of the table, a bench is placed alongside the straight edge of this dining surface to provide an additional layer of contrast in shape as well as tone. Both the dining surface and the bench are supported by simple legs of modern design.
Designer Secret
One can almost never use too much wood, as the forms can be varied as much as tones and grains to achieve eclectic compositions of modern and classic lines.

Organic Accents
The dining table in the interior is simply a piece of tree trunk mounted on sleek metal legs of modern design, but the entire composition is brought to exquisite heights by IDS Interior Design with the addition of a glass surface and turntable. The accompanying dining chairs constructed with considerably darker wood, and shaped with a hint of neo-oriental flavour. The use of a lighter toned and unfinished wood extends to rustic design of the exterior dining furniture.
Designer Secret
The measured use of wood here served to temper the luxurious décor, resulting in a more earthly and comfortable environment.

Versatile Timbers
It is not just the material itself, but the tones of wood that seem to saturate this dining space decorated by Nu Infinity. Even the grains of wood can be observed subtly presented in the veins of the floor tiles. The colours of the sheer curtains over the windows and paint on the walls complement the different tones of wood used in the dining table, chairs, as well as the wall veneer. Even when composed entirely of wood, the uniquely designed dining table and wall veneer help to modernise this space by emphasising the other sharp lines on the walls and ceilings.
