A Semi-D Infused with Sensual Materials: Nu Infinity

by creativehomex

Expressing a refined yet cosy chic aesthetic, the spaces in this home are made more appealing with a series of lustrous details.

At the heart of this sophisticated interior, a cosy journey for the senses is very much part of the experience. Nestled amid a soothing palette of sleek and subtle tones, the designer has brought out a uniquely distinctive style in this semidetached home.

Lush textures against a minimalist backdrop highlight the living area. A shiny grey marble feature wall accommodates the flat screen TV while a light brown TV cabinet below it completes the look. Opposite, a grey velvety sofa softens the ambience, complemented by a plush dark-toned rug and a stylish coffee table.

Right next to the living area, the stairway is adorned with the same timber-toned finishing. Over at the top part, glass panels are used in lieu of solid wall to ensure the stairway receives ample natural light while providing views to and from the staircase.

For the dining area, a round dining table with marble top is made complete with a set of six upholstered wooden chairs.

Adjacent to the open dining space is the dry kitchen which features an exceptionally stylish appeal, thanks to the dark marble island and the cluster of gold pendant lamps right above it. Warm grey cabinetry provides a neutral backdrop to set off a cohesive yet sophisticated theme.

In the master bedroom, the designers maintained the dark and sensual look using a combination of dark hues contrasted by warm wood. At the bed area, the headboard is constructed of dark grey panels with light brown detailing to create an eye-catching effect that’s subtle at the same time. Light sheers that cover the windows lend a more feminine look while cosy carpets add on to the luxurious feel of the room.

Next to it, the master bathroom suite is a simple composition of white fittings and warm brown cabinets to continue the cosy factor of the room.

In another bedroom, a dark reflective panel is used for the headboard. Opposite the bed, a custom-made study area complements the built-in wardrobe on the other side of the wall.

For the room next door, a blue headboard that contrasts with the lightwood tones in the room infuses a brighter effect to the space.
