Rest assured, it will take the guesswork out of creating delectable dishes, with minimal effort needed.
At the core of the Series 8 is the 4D HotAir feature – a blast of hot air delivered by a single fan on the EcoSilence Drive motor that silently changes its direction of rotation to evenly distribute heat throughout the internal cavity of the oven. The uniform heat distribution removes some of the guesswork that comes with cooking in conventional ovens, enabling food to be cooked to perfection when placed on any of the levels within the Series 8.
Bosch included a number of sensors to enable the oven to respond to changes in the internal environment: the PerfectBake sensor monitors humidity levels in the oven and the PerfectRoast temperature probe ensures that foods are safely cooked. The Series 8 also contains an integrated steamer and microwave feature for additional means of food preparation, while the high-resolution LED display above the oven door provides access to the Dish Assist function – a pre-loaded list of food categories that automatically assign heating methods, temperatures, and cooking times according to dishes selected with the rotary dial on the control panel.
The embossed icons and touch-enabled glass buttons on the front panel of the Series 8 provide control over a number of peripheral features for busy chefs including a rapid preheat function and programmable timers for cooking on schedule. For those of us with little ones running around, Bosch has also included a child-safety lock that is engaged with a touch of a button to prevent the accidental triggering or disruption of the oven.
