Sime Darby Property presents a fusion of modern and contemporary designs in their showroom for the newly developed Cantara Residences.
Cantara Residences is a condominium and serviced residence development by Sime Darby Property Berhad. The recently completed property is located in Ara Damansara, adjacent to the Tropicana Golf and Country Resort, in the state of Selangor.
Sime Darby’s ground-floor showroom embodies the aesthetic philosophy expressed in the design of this premium residential development. Abundant natural light is supplied by the full-frontage windows with white, narrow stile frames. Sleek pendant lights hang from the double-height ceilings directly above an unassuming conference table in light wood. In an apparent exercise of functional aspects posing as artistic accents, the table’s cable ingress is served via unique geometric cuts in the top surface. The arrangement is complemented by a combination of white and natural wood framed chairs with wicker seats arranged around the table.

The showroom floor centerpiece is a detailed model of the entire development and its immediate surroundings. Framing this model is a discrete border of wood that could act as a bench for observers to sit on in order to get a closer look at the presentation. The wall in front of this model features a composition of wide-screen television and concept art framed within niches and lit by concealed sources at the base.
Niches are used elsewhere in the showroom to present household decorations and demonstrate the design of kitchens. The countertops and cabinets are contrasted by horizontal strips of wood veneer on the field of walls and accentuated by warm light.
The adjacent seating area is decorated with an eclectic mixture of modern and contemporary furniture. Sleek grey upholstered sofas with dark brown trim are arranged alongside wicker chairs framed in dark wood. The wicker chairs feature overhanging backs to ease visitors into relaxation.
The individual floor plan types offered at Cantara Residences are presented in the form of intricate models encased in uniquely designed display cases. The white pedestals are enhanced with soft lighting emitted from the recesses beneath, making them appear to float above their bases.

Bilik Pameran Vs Rumah
Ruang pameran dihias dengan cita rasa seakan berada di ruang kediaman sendiri. Pemilihan warna putih menjadikan ia tampil luas dan bersahaja dalam penataan kali ini. Keselesaan untuk pelanggan amat dijaga agar nyaman tak kala berada di dalam bilik pameran ini.
Binaan cermin pada keliling bilik pameran ini cukup memberi ilusi luas dan selesa pada mata yang memandang. Bina bongkah kaca untuk mempamerkan lokasi jualan pada pelanggan langsung tidak mencuri ruang malah lebih teratur.
Meja perbincangan bersama pelanggan seakan meja makan ini cukup selesa untuk lapan. Manakala terdapat ruang yang dirias seakan ruang tamu memberi peluang untuk pelanggan berbincang dengan gaya lebih santai.
Hiasan dinding dengan gantungan hasil projek ini menampakan laluan tersebut kelihatan lebih elegan dengan gaya korporat. Pemilihan cat krim untuk dinding cukup sempurna dan menenangkan dalam keharmonian suasana.
Warna amat penting dalam keseimbangan aura dalam sesuatu ruang dan rekaan. Kali ini pakar bijak mengenakan warna serta set perabot yang berada dalam kombinasi yang sekata dan seirama.
