Designed with a harmony of luxury details, this large home offers ample space for a myriad of creative decorative accents to enhance its interior atmosphere.
Larger homes may have ample space for more interior ideas, but it’s the small details that truly make things work together. This modern luxurious home designed by InnHome Design is a wonderful example of how textures and different surfaces can be matched with creative details and elegant decorative accessories to produce a timeless interior that’s trendy at the same time.
Starting from the foyer, a line of wood-panelled walls affords a clean and sleek look. What’s astounding is the wall that camouflages the shoe cabinets. A few steps away, the ambience luxuriates into a grand yet warm atmosphere in the double volume living room. The floor-to-ceiling rough-textured stone feature wall catches the eye immediately, complemented by a light brown sofa set and soothing decor. Black polished marble with white veins are used for the flooring for a stunning effect. Over at the feature wall where the TV is placed, a faux fireplace at the bottom brightens up the room. On the opposite wall, white marble strips are used – a cost-effective approach to fill large-scale spaces with predominantly marble.
The kitchen is one of the most noteworthy spaces in this house. For the dry kitchen, a stretch of white sleek cabinetry system is flushed to the wall, concealing the storage areas and appliances. The entire unit is tailored to function immaculately. For example, where cabinet doors usually open up to 90 degrees, ideally 135 degrees is the best as it allows more accessibility to the storage area. The hinges in the cabinets here are tweaked to this specific angle, further enhancing the efficiency of this kitchen. In the centre, a long marble-clad island counter with a horizontal column demarcates the cookspace from the dining area. Right next to it, an automatic door leads to the wet kitchen which is done up in a pristine white theme.
Heading on up to the bedrooms, the palette tones down to a more minimalist one. Dark toned surfaces are used in the master suite in the form of dark brown panels and grey toned furnishing. In the other bedrooms, the designer kept the palette serene and white with pastel accents applied strategically. Interestingly, the doors to the rooms as well as different cabinets and panels feature gold-lined borders which reflect the designers’ high attention to details.
For its exterior, a grand impression is achieved via its contemporary façade complemented by well-manicured landscape features. Highlighting the space is an attractive spiral staircase which weaves all the way up to the top floor. Glass windows wrap around the home, permitting natural light and views to enter the home optimally. Overall, there’s a distinctive inside out feeling in this home, which gives it a timelessly cosy quality.
